We believe in comprehensive, expedient care and close communication with patients, their families, and you, as the patients referring physician.  All clinic notes, letters, operative reports and hospital records are on an Electronic Medical/Health Records System that is used through out St. John Providence Hospitals and our offices. 

Dr. Ernie Drelichman completed his general surgery residency at Providence Hospital in Southfield, Michigan and his colon and rectal surgery Fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.  He is Board Certified in General Surgery and Colon and Rectal Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgery (FACS).  He has over twelve years of extensive medical and surgical experience.  Dr. Drelichman returned to his Michigan home, spring of 2010, to begin his hospital practice with St. John Providence Health System and is ready to assist you in taking care of your patient’s health care needs.

We offer convenient, easy to schedule open endoscopy with one call (248-849-ENDO) for your patients without major risk factors – refer your patients by calling 248-849-3636 and schedule the colonoscopy. 

We will take care of the rest.  This includes a free risk assessment over the phone and a computerized registry to assure appropriate follow up.
